The End of the Summer Showdown is scheduled for August 27-30 at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Virginia. It is AQHA, VQHA, NSBA, and VA Bred approved. The event will be held simultaneously with the VPHC Color Classic Futurity and the East Coast Halter Futurity. 

“We are excited to have the opportunity to welcome all AQHYA exhibitors to compete at this year’s show since the AQHA Executive Committee waived the qualifying requirements due to the coronavirus pandemic,” said Justin Billings, AQHA chief show officer. “This year’s show will feature youth riders and their American Quarter Horses competing in Level 3, Adequan® Level 2 and Nutrena Level 1 classes.”

An Equine Production has now posted the showbill for the SOQHA Summer Finale that will be held August 22-23 at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio. The event will be triple-judged and held at the same time as the APHA Buckeye Bonanza. Judges will be Robert Dehn, Mike Hay, and Bruce Walquist.

APHA is excited to introduce the following 2020-2021 AjPHA Executive Committee candidates; the AjPHA Executive Committee positions will be selected by an online vote by AjPHA national directors (details coming soon to national directors via email).
