“With the unfortunate cancellation of AQHA championship shows earlier this year due to the worldwide pandemic, we are now pleased to cautiously move forward with hosting several of those events with the Farnam AQHA World,” said Justin Billings, AQHA chief show officer. “We are grateful to welcome all exhibitors to compete at this year’s show since the AQHA Executive Committee waived the qualifying requirements due to the pandemic. Mask will be required anytime an attendee can not maintain social distancing and at all times while indoors. Exhibitors riding or working their horses are not required to wear mask. AQHA is adding four stakes classes to the 2020 Farnam AQHA World Championship Show. The Association will continue to offer Level 1 western pleasure, hunter under saddle, ranch riding, trail and western riding stakes classes. New this year, AQHA will offer working hunter under saddle, ranch trail, western dressage and dressage stakes classes.

Top 20/Top 10 winners and Honor Roll Champions will receive beautiful custom trophy buckles to commemorate their wins. Face protection/face coverings are required per OKC Fairgrounds guidelines. Exhibitors and attendees are required to wear face protection/face coverings in all indoor areas, including but not limited to the stands, Show Office, trade show, barn and bathrooms. Face masks are optional in your own stall aisles and stalls given social-distancing standards are upheld when multiple people outside of your home/cohort are present. Face protection astride and at halter is optional. (Per CDC guidelines, children under age 2 or anyone who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance are not required to wear face protection.)
