AQHA International Educational Marketplace Clinics can be hosted in-person or virtually for the 2022 program year. Clinics are hosted by an AQHA Professional Horseman or -woman, trainer, judge, university group or other industry professional. Seminar hosts will have the opportunity to tailor the content of the seminar based on participant level skill, type of seminar and desired topics. Grants range from $2,500 to $5,000 per seminar.

The AQHYA World Championship Show, presented by Ford, made history as the largest Ford AQHYA World to date with more than 5,800 entries. The AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships saw a 30 percent increase in entries, and more than 500 first-time exhibitors entered and competed at the Farnam AQHA World Championship Show; AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan); Adequan® Level 2 Championships; and Nutrena Level 1 Championships.
Continue reading …Ten individuals ages 14-21 from Colorado and Wyoming were pre-selected and paired with industry professionals who acted as their “coach” or “mentor” for the day. Identified by matching shirts, the selected youth received one-on-one practice time with their coach, rotating through various stations to practice ranch horse skills. In the afternoon, the youth competed against each other for scholarship money provided by the National Western Scholarship Trust. They were asked to complete a ranch trail pattern, a ranch riding pattern, a modified reining pattern and beginning cow work. The selected youth and coaches gathered Friday night, prior to being matched with their Saturday mentor, to network and ask questions of each other and the coaches as a new addition to this year’s event.
