Dressed in fancy fascinators and coordinating bow ties, the group enjoyed mint juleps while watching Always Dreaming and Johnny Velasquez cross the finish line to win the “The Run For the Roses” for trainer Todd Pletcher.
Coming in second was Lookin At Lee. Third was Battle of Midway. Fourth was Classic Empire. Fifth was Practical Joke. Sixth was Tapwrit. Seventh was Gunnevera. Eighth was McCracken. Ninth was Gormley. Tenth was Irish War Cry. Eleventh was Hence. Twelfth was Untrapped. Thirteenth was Girvin. Fourteenth was Patch. Fifteenth was J Boys Echo. Sixteenth was Sonneteer. Seventeenth was Fast and Accurate. Eighteenth was Irap. Ninteeth was State of Honor. Twentieth was Thunder Snow, who didn’t finish the race.
