The English family is very excited to pull embryos this year and has a few dream crosses in mind, including Very Cool, Evinceble, and Execute. They hope her babies will get her beauty, balance, and personality.

“He was in London the other day, and we sent him the video from the preliminaries. He was afraid that he would jinx him if he came to watch the finals, but it worked out well.”

This win was particularly bittersweet for Aaron and Linda, because Linda lost her husband just a few months ago. “Sometimes, it’s bigger than horse showing, and this is one of those things.”

“We have 8-year-old Georgia, 5-year-old Isabella, and Elizabeth, who is turning four in just three days, so we need to win one more trophy!”

“He’s kind of brought me into the Quarter Horse world slowly, and he’s so amazing. He has helped my career tremendously and really jump-started it in AQHA. Horses like him don’t come along very often, and I’m so excited for what the future will bring. 

Interestingly enough, today’s World Champions in Hunter Hack have several things in common. In addition to being top females in their respective disciplines, Jessica Johnson and Lainie DeBoer were student and trainer, not too many years ago.

“I just turned 54, and I’ve been coming here a very long time, some thirty years. This feels like relief! I don’t have to retire without a gold trophy. It’s fantastic. I don’t get really excited on the outside, but I’m excited on the inside.”
