Stimulating stem cells to heal faster through the use of shock wave therapy is part of the exciting new research being conducted at the OVC by Dr. Koenig. They were investigating whether shock wave therapy performed after injecting stem cells into a tendon will result in better quality healing. Then they came up with the idea of pre-treating stem cells with shock wave prior to injection!

AjPHA is excited to announce that the 2020 Game Changers Program is officially underway! The Game Changers Program allows AjPHA national directors to participate as non-voting members on APHA Advisory Committees. The mission of this program is to enable Youth to participate on APHA committees and learn more about their roles in APHA. Game Changers was developed at the 2019 Youth Leadership Conference and shortly after was approved by the Board of Directors.

The Arkansas Quarter Horse Association’s Memorial Day circuit and Stanford Happening was renamed the “Keep Your Distance” circuit and was moved to Kay Rogers Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas with only three weeks left to plan after Arkansas’s governor lifted some restrictions for large outdoor venues.
