After careful consideration and evaluation of pandemic-related matters, the AQHA Executive Committee made the decision for AQHA Level 1 classes to remain at their respective AQHA world championship shows in 2021. The Association is in active negotiations to host the 2022 Nutrena Level 1 Championships as standalone events.

Margaret had a rich full life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, nurse anesthetist, elected official and community volunteer. She was born (a twin) on March 16, 1926, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Harry and Jennie Tilley and one of nine siblings. She attended high school in Omaha where she excelled at swimming, earning a Nebraska state champion title, which marked a lifelong love of the sport. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing education from Creighton University, where she met her future husband, the late Dr. O’Connor. She also earned a certification as a nurse anesthetist from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

A Sudden Impulse NSBA and Futurity horse show is managed by Peak-Equine Productions and sanctioned by the National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA). It will feature more than 160 classes in 16 divisions, along with more than $360,000 in added prize money and more than $100,000 in prizes.
