The 2020-2021 American Quarter Horse Youth Association Executive Committee was presented $4,500 in scholarships on July 14 at the 2021 Bank of America Youth Excellence Seminar in Amarillo.
AQHYA President Justin Eddy of Rocheport, Missouri, received a $2,000 scholarship.
AQHYA First Vice President Claire Lee of McAllen, Texas, received a $1,000 scholarship.
AQHYA Second Vice President Steve Wheat of Reddick, Florida, received a $500 scholarship.
AQHYA Executive Member Emma Schaefer of New Virginia, Iowa, received a $500 scholarship.
AQHYA Executive Member Alexa Black of Springfield, Ohio, received a $500 scholarship.
Throughout the year, AQHYA Executive Committee serves as ambassadors for the Association. To recognize their incredible commitment and passion these youth officers demonstrate throughout their time of service, the AQHA Youth Department awarded these young leaders with scholarships from AQHA.
