While the Coliseum was busy with Horsemanship Prelims, the Hunter events were underway in the Performance arena. The best thing about the Youth World is that it allows you to become friends with people from your state who you didn’t know. In my case, I met both Caroline Bradley and Chandler Runnells, because we are stalled next to each other. Chandler and Caroline have already had lots of success in the Hunter Hack, Equitation Over Fences, and the Working Hunter.

Caroline placed fifth in the Level 2 Working Hunter with her horse, Whatmadeusaythat, along with grabbing the bronze in Level 2 Equitation Over Fences! Caroline is also in the Level 3 finals of the Hunter Hack and Equitation Over Fences. I look forward to seeing how they do throughout this next week.image4 copy

On a different note, I’d like to wish my trainer Terry Cross a belated Happy Birthday! We’ve been so busy preparing to show that we were finally able to celebrate over dinner last night!
