Congratulations to Megan Newlon from Hugoton, Kansas, for receiving the first Youth Activities Scholarship. Newlon competed in Level 3 ranch riding and Adequan® Level 2 working cow horse. For the first time, the American Quarter Horse Foundation awarded an educational scholarship to an eligible AQHYA member competing at the 2020 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show.

To be eligible for the scholarship, youth must be in their last year of youth eligibility and complete in a Level 3, Adequan® Level 2 or a designated AQHYA contest at the 2020 Ford Youth World.

The Foundation is committed to helping the dreams of our youth come true by making higher education more affordable and accessible through scholarships. Today’s youth are the future leaders of our industry.

Interested in helping to support this scholarship with your donations? Visit www.aqha.com/givetoyouth today to make a tax-deductible eligible donation and help higher education become more affordable for youth.
