WACO, Texas – Eight National Collegiate Equestrian Association riders will participate in the 2014 American Quarter Horse Association Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge this Wednesday and Thursday as part of the AQHA World Championship Show to be held in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Eight riders, who are current student-athletes in the 2014-15 season, will represent eight different institutions at the event. Riders were selected by the NCEA Selection Committee using 2013-14 individual statistics for horsemanship.
The preliminaries take place Wednesday, November 19, while the finals are set for Thursday, November 20.
The collegiate riders selected for the AQHA Horsemanship Challenge are as follows:
