Gateway Classic and Solid Gold Futurity
Over in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, AQHA competitors have gathered for the Gateway Classic that begins today and goes through May 28th. Judges include Sissy Anderson, Dean Bogart, Glenn Wells, Gretchen Mathes, Michelle Tidwell, Robert Dehn, Gene Parker, Steve Ferguson, and John Shepard.
Some exciting items on the schedule include the return of Hunter classes, Versatility Ranch Horse, and a Level 1 Show that will take place on Monday. BIG news in the awards department is that circuit champions for every AQHA class and Small Fry will receive a gift certificate for a pair of Justin Boots. That’s 150+ pairs of boots to be awarded at this show! “We thank Justin Boots for sponsoring these awards!” says Kathy Avolt. “We’re working on having a representative at the show so you can size, make some selections, and more!”
In addition to six full shows, competitors will be treated to several added money classes:
Speaking of money, the triumphant return of the Solid Gold Futurity will host several classes at the event this year.
