APHA Welcomes Hannah Eichman as Director of Youth & Amateur Activities

Hannah Eichman joined the American Paint Horse Association as its new director of Youth & Amateur activities, effective December 11, 2023. Eichman is excited to lead and elevate APHA’s Youth and Amateur programs to new heights.
In her new role, Eichman will oversee the strategic direction and initiatives aimed at fostering growth, education and community among APHA’s Youth and Amateur members within the vibrant equestrian landscape. Her vision aligns seamlessly with APHA’s commitment to empowering the next generation of equestrians while supporting the aspirations of Amateur enthusiasts.
Prepared to Lead
Eichman brings a wealth of experience in youth programming and equine education. Previously, she served as director of agricultural and competitive events for Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas, including programming for the Heart O’ Texas Fair and Rodeo. There, she helped produce horse judging contests and barrel racing, roping and reining events, among other duties. Eichman is passionate about advocating for agriculture and educating others. Her desire to nurture young talent and cultivate a welcoming environment for Youth and adults alike aligns perfectly with APHA’s dedication to inclusivity and excellence.
“I am thrilled to join the American Paint Horse Association and contribute to the development of Youth and Amateur programs,” Eichman said. “I am committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment that empowers our AjPHA and Amateur enthusiasts to thrive in their equestrian pursuits.”
CEO David Dellin is confident Eichman will help drive positive change within the organization.
“Hannah’s expertise and passion for Youth and Amateur engagement make her an invaluable addition to our team. We are excited to see her innovative ideas and leadership propel our Youth and Amateur programs forward,” Dellin said.
Eichman is a Texas Tech University graduate, holding a master’s degree in agricultural communications with a focus in public relations and marketing, and a bachelor’s in animal science.
