APHA is pleased to welcome Elizabeth Ennis as the association’s new director of shows. Elizabeth served as APHA’s marketing/sales intern in the fall of 2018. In her new role in APHA’s Performance Department, she will oversee show approvals and awards tabulation. Her duties will also include assisting with judges and HorseIQ educational projects.

Elizabeth is from Sugar Land, Texas, and grew up riding hunter/jumpers. While earning her bachelor’s degree in animal science at Texas A&M University, she competed on the collegiate horse judging team and was president of the TAMU Horseman’s Association. She recently completed her Master of Agriculture in animal science, focusing on equine marketing, and continued to be involved with youth and collegiate horse judging programs through the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension program.

Elizabeth is excited to re-join the Paint Horse family and dive in. “I so enjoyed my time here as an intern, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to get to come back on a full-time basis and learn even more about this great association and serve its members on a deeper level.”

APHA’s Senior Director of Judges, Shows & Education Dave Dellin is looking forward to Elizabeth’s arrival.

“I am very excited to have someone of Elizabeth’s caliber joining our team,” he said. “She will be a great asset to APHA.”

Elizabeth joins the association on January 2nd and looks forward to meeting members at the upcoming 2020 Convention in February.
