Like you, we’re monitoring the latest news about the coronavirus. That’s why we’re doing all we can to make sure things are running smoothly for our members until we all know more. We neither want to under appreciate the significance of this health threat nor over respond to it. We are following recommendations from state and local health officials.

Right now we have no intention of cancelling the APHA Youth World Show or the APHA Open/Amateur World Show. If circumstances change, we will communicate it widely. Regarding APHA-approved shows, each show manager needs to make his or her own decisions about continuing their horse shows. Horse show managers should remind exhibitors to take precautionary personal hygiene measures to reduce the spread of the virus.

About APHA

The American Paint Horse Association is the world’s second-largest international equine breed association, registering more than a million horses in 59 nations and territories since it was founded in 1962. APHA promotes, preserves and provides meaningful experiences with Paint Horses.
