Our sincerest condolences go out to the family and friends of APHA amateur exhibitor, Tracy Rodeback, who passed away this week.
Many of our readers will remember a special story about Tracy that was reported by EquineChronicle.com in 2017, during the APHA World Championship Show. A number of Tracy’s friends and fellow competitors showed their support for her then stage 4 cancer diagnosis by placing a hand over their hearts during the awards presentations at the show. Their display of love was seen by Tracy, who was back at home in Colorado watching classes on the live feed. Click here to read Hand Over Heart.
Tracy improved following that World Show and was able to attend a few events over the past two years with her Limelite Show Horses family. Sadly, the disease proved to be too much for Tracy to overcome and she passed away earlier this week.
Tracy’s funeral will be held April 23rd with a viewing at 10 am and a service to be held at 11 am at the G Rd LDS Church at 2542 G Rd Grand Junction, CO 81505.
