Ohio Quarter Horse Association and the Cinch Horse Show Tracker are proud to remain on the leading edge with the addition of electronic maneuver scoring to the scribing program at the All American Quarter Horse Congress.
New this year, is the ability for the judges and scribes to electronically record each maneuver and/or penalty score. Each individual maneuver score is added and monitored by show management in real-time. The maneuvers are then posted to the Horse Show Tracker before the next run begins. After the class is complete, the printed scoresheets are then posted to the Congress website and the Horse Show Tracker. Paper back-ups are kept throughout.
By using electronic scoring and uploads, exhibitors are able to review maneuver scores during instant replays in order to enhance the coaching experience between trainer and exhibitor. Electronic scoring also increases efficiency during scored classes by an estimated 15 seconds per run and at least 10 minutes per class, cutting hours off the show day and ensuring accuracy of results.
Most importantly, by decreasing the length of the show day provides more opportunity for exhibitors to connect and also experience everything else that the All American Quarter Horse Congress has to offer!
