New “High Class Reining Show” Comes to Weikersdorf, Austria- $120,000 Added Money

Europe now has another top reining event: the High Class Reining, a $120,000-added NRHA approved event at Weikersdorf, Austria, which is scheduled for July 22-26, 2015.
The main sponsor of this show is KL Performance Horses (Sabine Lisec and Chuck Klipfel), who have supported other renowned NRHA events like the NRHA European Futurity in Kreuth, Germany, and the NRHA European Derby in Italy.
The facility of Weikersdorf is well known in Austria’s western riding scene. For years, it has been the location of the Austrian QHA Championships as well as the Austrian State Championship. In 2013, new owners Elli and Jorg Preimesberger bought the facility and founded the High Class Horse Center – a beautiful facility specializing in the needs of show horses and their riders. Today, it is one of Austria‘s main centers for dressage and western riding. It is also the home of Austrian reiner Markus Morawitz who claimed team bronze at the 2014 World Equestrian Games.
The show will include three events: the $90,000+ 50% added money High Class Reining Maturity for 5 to 8-year-old horses, the $20,000+ 50% added money High Class Reining Stakes for 4-year-old horses and a $ 10,000+ 50% added money NRHA Ancillary Show. The event is NRHA approved and a qualifying event for the 2016 NRHA European Affiliate Championships. The High Class Reining 2015 will be judged by five international judges. Deadline for entries is July 1, 2015.
The riders will find an excellent show facility with two indoor arenas (30 x 71 m and 20 x 40 m) and a 30 x 60 m outdoor arena, which will provide a roof for the event. Of course, there will be optimal ground for reining horses. The facility provides 100 box stalls in their stables. There will be VIP areas as well as exhibition space and a big restaurant tent which is taken care of by the facility’s excellent Riders Lounge. Of course, there will be livescoring on www.showmanager.info as well as a livestream via RHV Video.
