AQHYA World Freestyle Exhibition Extravaganza!

Katy Perry made an appearance as well as some dueling fiddle players from Georgia, Merida the Disney princess, a Despicable Me minion, the Pink Panther and Inspector Clouseau.

The most touching performance of the night closed out the evening. Youth exhibitor Paige Wacker paid tribute to her horse “Jackson,” who passed away just a few weeks before the Youth World this year. Wacker borrowed a friend’s horse and performed a lovely pattern with Jackson’s photo, halter, and a single red rose as a backdrop. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
