“We aren’t sure which one of these two was hiding on the ultrasounds, but we had undiagnosed twins born last Sunday! We are so proud to introduce Mork and Mindy!” says Pattie Puglisi of Puglisi Performance Horses. She explains they are completely healthy, and she wishes to share their success story of these little kiddos defeating all odds.
“We are so incredibly lucky with these two,” explains Pattie. “Maiden “Mama of The Year” Sadie had an uncomplicated birth and foaled these two shockingly healthy twins. They needed some assistance in the first couple of hours, but after that, they were doing all the things they needed to do on their own. Sadie was an absolute saint: She immediately bonded with both babies and stood completely still for about 7 hours as we were in the stall with her and her babies making sure they did all the things they needed to do. Both Mork and Mindy had igGs over 1600! And all bloodwork looked fabulous.”
Pattie adds she’s thankful to have the best vet who came out right away and great friends who got up in the middle of the night to help. “It was all hands on deck and none of us slept or left the barn for about 24 hrs mostly because we were all in shock! Mork and Mindy are by When In Chrome and out of the great mare PSU Skys The Limit.”
