We’d like to extend our condolences to the family and friends on the loss of horsewoman Rose Mason, a pillar of the Tennessee Quarter Horse Association.
“Rose was an incredibly cherished and admired horsewoman by many in the Tennessee Quarter Horse Association community and throughout AQHA. She was a huge matriarch in the rise of the ranch classes,” says Miranda Burkert of Miranda Taylor Photography.
“You will find many tributes to her that all echo the same sentiments of how strong, determined, and welcoming to the horse world she was to so many in the industry. TQHA did recently introduce the “Rose Mason Ranch Challenge” at the TQHA Dogwood Classic which I believe will become an annual ranch futurity,” says Miranda.
We invite all whose lives were touched by Rose to post in our comments to help form a more complete tribute for our website. Thank you to Miranda for these amazing images.
