Congratulations to Siena Holyoak, who earned her first Gold Globe on Saturday, July 29th, in L3 Performance Halter Mares with Wrap Me In Red at the 2023 AQHYA World Championship Show! They also earned gold in the L2 Performance Halter Mares!

Then in the L1 Youth 14-18 Hunter Under Saddle, Karly Humbert grabbed the crystal trophy with Blessed With TheBest. It was her first win at the World Show, and she says the Hunter Under Saddle is not necessarily her favorite class, but she does it with him because he makes the class so fun to ride. “He’s a good boy and he’s special,” says Karly. “We got him when he was two from the NSBA World Show sale, and we found out he had OCDs in his stifles, so we opted to do the surgery and we did all the rehab for it; he’s literally our pride and joy.”

She also says her win felt amazing. “We already won it at L1 East so the bar was already kind of set. I had so much fun.” Karly’s sister will be showing the five-year-old up next in Showmanship; Horsemanship, Trail and also in the Hunter Under Saddle.
