• Amend rule 911.6 At all shows where there is an official videographer judges will be allowed to review all major and/or severe penalties of two points or more, excluding marker penalties in reining or lameness as long as one (1) judge has called a penalty.
• Add new rule: In any Western Riding class held at the Youth, Select or Amateur/Open AQHA World Shows. If there is more than a 3-point difference between any two (2) judges’ scores then the ride should be reviewed by all five (5) judges along with the AQHA director of judges. If a judge realizes that they have scored a horse incorrectly, they may amend their card to bring their score more in line with the majority of the judges.

Show Committee Agenda

• Amend rule: SHW400.1- SHW 400.2 Reduce number of horses to be shown to two horses in a junior class and two horses in a senior class. SHW400.1 Exhibit three two horses in a junior class. SHW400.2 Exhibit three two horses in a senior class.
• Add new classes like Walk Trot for Select Amateur 65 and over, Walk Only Showmanship in L1 Amateur and L1 Youth, Western Dressage, Steer Stopping, Timed Ranch Trail, Hunter In Hand.
• Amend rule: SHW371. SHOWMANSHIP AT HALTER – CLASS PROCEDURES: – All exhibitors may enter the ring and then work individually or Each exhibitor may be worked from the gate individually. (Add) Exhibitor may enter one or more horses in a class but each horse may be shown only once per class..
• Recommend AQHA switch from five judge to four judge system at the World Show. Rather than using the drop high and low score, only drop the low.
• Add 13 and Under to 2018 Youth World Show in Showmanship, Horsemanship, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Ranch Riding and Trail
