Over $30,000 in Prize Money for 2017 NSBA Fun In The Sun Extravaganza

Are you ready for some Fun In The Sun? Mark Harrell Horse Shows, along with founding sponsors: Fox Lea Farm, All That Show Clothing, and Dean Bogart, are working together to ensure that the 2017 NSBA Fun In The Sun Extravaganza will be one for the history books with over $30,000 in prize money to be awarded via win checks as competitors exit the arena.

The 2017 event will take place January 10-11 in Venice, Florida and will be held in conjunction with the Fox Lea Farm Winter Circuit, January 7-13. As an NSBA approved event, all breeds are welcome to participate in the FITS.

The show kicks off on Tuesday with Trail, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle, and Ranch Riding. Day two of the competition will include Showmanship, Western Riding, Western Pleasure, Equitation, and Hunter Under Saddle.

One of the highlighted events on this year’s schedule is the $10,000 NSBA Maturity $10,000 Limited Horse Open Western Pleasure. A special bonus will be awarded to the highest placing limited rider.

The 2017 Fun In the Sun Extravaganza is part of the big three: Florida Gold Coast (Dec 28-31), Florida Gulf Coast (Jan. 2-5), and Fox Lea Farm Winter circuit (Jan. 7-13) coming up in Dec. 2016/Jan. 2017. Visit markharrellhorseshows.com for more information about all three of these events.
