Allocate Your Assets’ 2016 Book Limited to 50 Outside Mares, Already Over 50% Full

AQHA stallion Allocate Your Assets certainly knows what it feels like to be in high demand. An Equi-Stat Leading Hunter Under Saddle Sire and multiple AQHA World and Congress Champion sire, “Al,” as he’s fondly known by his fans, is the 2002, 16.2 hand bay stallion by Protect Your Assets and out of the Thoroughbred mare Kat Sass.

His foals have had much success in the show pen lately. At the 2015 All American Quarter Horse Congress, Al sired seven Congress Champions, five Southern Belle Breeders’ Champions, nine Reserve Champions, one Reserve Southern Belle Breeders’ Champion and 33 Top Tens.

In an effort to maintain the best quality of service for their customers, Breeding Manager Jim Searles along with stallion owners, G.W. and Kathy Tobin, have made the decision to limit Al’s 2016 book to 50 outside mares. “While this is something new that we’re trying, as well as the raise in his 2016 stud fee, so far the response has been awesome and very positive,” Jim says. “We are limiting his book so we can keep the best quality of service possible for the customer and also to keep the value and the high demand of his babies for the mare owners.”

Al’s 2016 stud fee is $3,000, which includes a $500 non-refundable booking fee. Also, there is a discounted fee for World Champion and producing mares of $2,000. At the current time, Al’s book is over halfway full and it’s not even January yet.

A percentage of every breeding sold goes to Shorty Koger at Shorty’s Caboy Hattery for her efforts to fight cancer within the horse community. At the 2015 AQHA World Show, a $5,000 check was donated to the Rein In Cancer charity in the name of Koger’s late sister, Shirley Bowman.

For those not familiar with Rein In Cancer, the Oklahoma-based 501-C3 corporation was created in January 2012 as a way to provide direct financial assistance to cancer patients who are actively involved in the horse industry. The group originally raised funds to create the Shirley Bowman Nutrition Center at the Charles and Peggy Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City. Co-founders include Shorty Koger, Tracie Anderson and Cheryl Magoteaux Cody.

To date, Rein In Cancer has raised over 1 million dollars and assisted cancer patients in need throughout 32 states and in Canada. In an effort to keep the donated funds in the horse community, recipients are members of the American Quarter Horse Association, the National Reining Horse Association, the National Reined Cow Horse Association and the National Cutting Horse Association.

Everyone at Circle S Ranch is very excited for the 2016 AYA Breeding Season. For more information about Allocate Your Assets, visit www.allocateyourassets.com.
