The American Royal in Kansas City, MO. recently recorded a whopping 5,200+ entries during its 2019 edition that took place September 5-8. Judges for the show were Judd Paul, Dean Bogart, Liz Baker, Eric Petersen, David Denniston, and Kelly McDowall.

As has become a tradition each year, there was an Exhibitor BBQ on Thursday and The Royal Feast on Friday, where each participant was asked to bring a dish to serve in front of their stalls. Each barn was responsible for a different course and a printable menu was provided so guests could graze the selections. The Most Spectacular Host received a crystal trophy.
