In January of this year, we relayed the news that the Will Rogers Equestrian Complex in Fort Worth, Texas would be installing a new Pavilion/Covered Arena, a project estimated to cost $4.7 million.
The 145’ x 300’ Pavilion will comfortably accommodate a 125’ x 250’ covered open-air arena with covered access to the Richardson-Bass Building and the John Justin Arena. Its central location on the north side of the Richardson-Bass Building will provide a prime venue for exhibitor exercise and warm-up or an additional competition arena when needed.
In addition, the Pavilion will offer flexible space for outdoor exhibitions, additional horse stalling capacity, covered parking or even a banquet setting when the arena is not needed. Click here to read more.
Home to equestrian events like the AjPHA Youth World Show, Appaloosa Youth World Show, Reichert Celebration, APHA World Show, NCHA Futurity and Super Stakes and many more, Will Rogers management hopes to have the project completed for use for the 2015 show schedule.
We recently received an updated photo showing that construction is already underway on this new project. Scroll below to view artist renderings that show what the Pavilion will look like upon completion.
