The Quarter Horse Congress has been held in Ohio since 1967.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, a $38 million allocation from the state for two new buildings at the Ohio Expo Center has effectively shut down any rumors that The All American Quarter Horse Congress would consider another location for the annual event.

Reportedly, the money will be used to increase the number of horse stalls and begin construction of a new 100,000 square-foot multipurpose building.

Stay tuned for an upcoming EC.com interview with OQHA Executive Director Dr. Scott Myers, wherein we will discuss, more in depth, some of the improvements that will be made to the facility.
