It was a gathering place for team members to get advice about patterns and the truth of what they did wrong and praise on what they did right. There was never judgement or criticism. Through help from the FEI Solidarity Fund, we are setting up a stable facility at Lviv with 40 boxes to house horses in transit as we begin to evacuate more from danger. We continue to work with a number of individuals on both side the border to establish stop over locations for horses. Some will remain in the west of Ukraine and some will move further west into neighboring counties. There is also a requirement to establish quarantine stations for horses to complete their health requirements prior to their onward journey.

The acts of war in the Ukraine require all of us to join in supporting human and horse welfare in the areas impacted however we can.  We will work closely with FEI to ensure all funds contributed are distributed to those who need it most.”

One of the highlights of the March To The Arch horse show that took place in Fort Worth, Texas over the weekend were two Super Sires classes. Executive Committee members, Joan Schroeder and Stephen Stephens, presented awards in the $2,500 added Non-Pro All Aged Hunter Under Saddle Stakes and $1,250 Added Amateur Select Horsemanship Stakes.
