Everyone has a different method for pinning on back numbers. Some use traditional safety pins for security, while others prefer magnets for the “no hole” approach. Some like to secure the number on the top and bottom, while others attach on the sides. The placement of the number on an exhibitor’s back is another topic entirely. But one thing is for certain, there are a lot of differing opinions when it comes to this horse show staple.

Continue reading …“The Gold division of the Breeders’ Futurity saw some huge increases in 2021,” APHA Director of Advertising & Incentive Programs Matt Arias said. “About $190,000 was paid out between the World Show and the Lone Star Gathering. We had more mares nominated in 2021 than ever before. We are excited to add classes for non-pros, which will allow a new group to earn payouts in the program. These modifications will help the program continue to grow.”
