Continue reading …The new APHA office space is located in one of the Stockyards’ renovated mule barns—the structures were originally built in 1912 and housed the area’s horses and mules for decades. The barns were renovated by Majestic Realty and the Hickman Group, part of a 70-acre revitalization of the Stockyards area. In addition to housing APHA, Mule Alley will feature numerous restaurants, retail and corporate office space.
Continue reading …The finals of the Adequan National Championship Select Showmanship at the Arizona Sun Circuit were held on Tuesday evening just as the Johns Family NSBA party was getting started ringside at The Equine Chronicle Arena. After three days of Showmanship elimination rounds and a lot of great pattern work, four finalists remained. Scott Reinartz with Investin a Goodbar, Sharon Forbes-Hanks with Hot Lil Assets, Joe Whitt with Suddenlee Single, and Anne Wilson with Give Me the Goods were back center arena for the head to head competition.

Continue reading …In the end, Whats The Pattern team from Arizona, which included Kaitlin Bowen, team captain, and members: Nicole Herr, Steve Rishman, and John Anderson were named the champions of the contest. They had a composite time of 299.34 with Nicole Herr earning the fastest women’s time of 60.09 seconds. The team also saw Steve Rishman with an 87.12 time, Jon Anderson with 70.33, and Kaitlin Bowan with 81.80.
