It is with deep regret we announce that we have to cancel the Tarheel Spring Classic due to NC Governor Cooper issuing Executive Order 120, which prohibits any mass gathering of greater than 50 people through 5 pm on April 24th. We look forward to bringing the show to you in 2021 and ask you to take necessary precautions for the health of you and your family. Please plan to join us in Raleigh, NC. on June 11-14 for the Tarheel Summer Classic.

When you attend a horse show, it’s your responsibility, as an exhibitor, to know which AQHA leveled classes you and your horse are eligible for. Prepare for the upcoming summer shows by determining your level now. 

In preparation for this year’s 73rd Appaloosa National Horse Show & Youth World Championship in Fort Worth, Texas, the official show schedule was released, and it included some historic changes. Weanling halter classes and two-year-old riding classes were eliminated from the schedule.

APHA is planning on hosting the APHA Youth World Show as currently scheduled; however, we are continuing to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow the direction and guidance of federal, state and local authorities. We will be sure to communicate any changes as soon as possible. Should the Youth World Show be canceled due to COVID-19, full refunds will be granted, so there’s absolutely no risk in sending in your pre-entries to qualify for the best rates!
