An Equine Production has just released the showbill for the GQHA Summer Kickoff that’s scheduled for May 29-31 in Conyers, GA. There will be rookie classes, flat rate AQHA, flat rate NSBA, and a L1/Novice show. Judges will be: Chris Thompson, Cindy Rucker, Charlene Carter, and Ronald Stratton. The inaugural show offered 10 classes, and each of the 122 entries were given private, detailed, constructive critiques from judge Sandy Jirkovsky. The virtual show paid out a total of $4,270 to top-placing exhibitors, as well.

AnPing and China Paint Horse Enthusiasts Donate Medical Supplies to North Texas Hospitals

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital and Cook Children’s Medical Center, both in Fort Worth, each received a donation from a group of Paint Horse enthusiasts in China. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital received 600 N95 respirators, 6,000 surgical masks, 32 pairs of eye-protection glasses and 64 surgical gowns. Cook Children’s Medical Center received 4,000 surgical masks, 64 pairs of glasses and 32 surgical gowns.
