MOSCOW, IDAHO — Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) would like to congratulate the Western Washington Regional Appaloosa Club (WWRAC) for receiving the highest score in the ApHC’s 2020 Exemplary Regional Club contest. This award was developed to recognize Regional Clubs that go above and beyond when promoting the Appaloosa breed.
WWRAC competed against four other regional clubs representing four territories, and will receive a $500 check from the ApHC. The second highest score went to the Keystone ApHC who will receive a certificate and a check from the ApHC for $250. The third highest score went to the New Mexico ApHC who will receive a certificate and a check from the ApHC for $100.
The ApHC applauds the efforts of every one of the participating clubs, which included submitting a digital scrapbook detailing their Regional Club Appaloosa shows, activities, sales and other events. The clubs were scored by the ApHC Board of Directors Regional Club Committee in categories that focused on member participation.
“On behalf of the the entire Board of Directors, we want to congratulate this year’s winners for their tireless efforts toward promoting the Appaloosa breed, as well as their regional clubs,” said ApHC President Ken Johnson. “Our Exemplary Club Awards are a recognition of the ‘best of the best’ when it comes to creating awareness about a wide range of activities such as showing, trail riding and charitable causes.
