Arizona Fall Championship Show– September 20-24, 2017
Youth all-around exhibitors at this year’s show will be showing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only. The Arizona Quarter Horse Association Oversight Committee has elected to focus the youth classes on the weekends. The committee recognizes the importance of scheduling so that youth exhibitors miss the least amount of school days possible. The Oversight Committee intends to focus on a similar scheduling changes for the 2018 Sun Circuit to accommodate as many youth as possible.
CLIMATE CONTROLLED ARENAS FOR EVERYONE!
The new climate-controlled North Hall arenas will be in place for this year’s show! Plans are for two arenas and a warmup area in North Hall for the all-around and rail classes. The climate controlled Equidome will host the Ranch Riding, VRH, Reining, Cow Horse and Roping classes.
An increasingly popular show for Level 2 and Select exhibitors, the event will continue to offer a great set of awards for L1, L2, and L3 exhibitors with many classes leveled. Top 5 awards for each circuit!
With the close proximity of the show to the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, a fence work practice pen will be available.
AN ADDITIONAL DAY
To allow for earlier completion times, the show will be five days this year. The additional day should allow for early completion times and afford exhibitors the opportunity to enjoy the fine restaurants, hotels, and shopping Scottsdale offers.
