2016 Prairie Classic News – Day 2
Great weather and good judges greeted the contestants who arrived in Oklahoma City this week for the Prairie Classic. Judges for the event this year are Jeff Allen, Pierre Briere, Cindy Hale, Mike Hoeppner, Michael Jung, Kelly McDowall and Jennifer Powell.
The first two days of competition are dedicated to the open exhibitors with the remaining three days being a mixture of open, youth, and amateur classes. This year, the show has experienced an increase in the number of exhibitors resulting in large classes particularly in Trail, Western Riding, Reining and Ranch Pleasure. The Over Fence classes also experienced an increase in numbers as well.

More great weather resulted in large classes as the Prairie Classic continued with Halter classes and completion of the open classes. Day 3 also saw the beginning of the amateur and youth competition. Stall storage bags and sheets were awarded to the following circuit champions.
