Despite an unfounded rumor being spread around social media that the Gateway Classic had 250+ stalls cancelled due to concerns of EHV-1 virus, show management has reported that’s not the case. Trailers have been pulling in early this week, and the show kicks off today May 21st in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.
The 2015 Gateway Classic has a brand, new schedule this year with a special event, six shows, a Novice show, and Equestrians with Disabilities classes. Jennifer Leckey will judge the special event taking place today. The six-judge event will be judged by Leslie Lange, Michael Colvin, Nancy Alto-Renfro, Kelly Stone, Debra Jones-Wright, and Mike Weaver. The Novice show will be judged by Karen Craighead.
