Be on the lookout for The Equine Chronicle Hospitality Cart!

The 2015 Buckeye is just two days away! The first portion of the show, The Little Buckeye, will take place July 17-19 and The Buckeye Classic will take place July 22-26. Both events will be AQHA, OQHA, NOQHA, EOQHA, and OMI approved.

The Little Buckeye will provide three sets of AQHA points and one set of NSBA points. The Buckeye Classic will provide six sets of AQHA points for Showmanship, Horsemanship, Western Pleasure, Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle, Pleasure Driving and five sets of points for all other events and two sets of NSBA points.

Charlie Cole, Kelly McDowall, Cindy Hale, Darren Wright, Kelly Chapman, and Andrea Simons

Buckeye Classic Judges-
Scott Neuman, Rhonda Replogle, Larry Hansch, Nancy Sue Ryan, Robin Frid, Brett Clark, Tom Robertson, and Sissy Anderson

In addition to the competition, there is a full schedule of special events planned!

Friday, July 17th, 1:00 pm at The Sweet Shop- Pizza With Patti- Join us for a town hall meeting at the Hospitality Tent with AQHA’s Patti Carter. Patti will be onsite to answer any leveling or horse show questions you may have. Take a photo and share it to The Buckeye Classic Facebook page along with ‪#‎PizzaWithPatti‬ and ‪#‎TopTenShow‬ and you will be entered to win an Apple iWatch, courtesy of Recchiuti Show Horses.

Monday, July 20th- Buckeye Open Golf Outing- Help Ohio youth make college more affordable by dusting off your clubs and taking part in this fun event. Contact Elizabeth Gorski for more information at 419-494-1611.

Tuesday, July 21st- Buckeye Blitz 5K- There’s no better way to burn off Buckeye calories and help raise money for a $1,000 scholarship than to run or walk with some friends at the horse show.

Tuesday, July 21st- Pancake Breakfast- Now that you’ve gotten your exercise for the morning during the Buckeye Blitz 5K, enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast!

Friday, July 24th- Basket Auction- This basket auction will take place for the second year in a row to raise money for the Congress Cares Foundation.

Friday, July 24th- Exhibitor Dinner– Enjoy some delicious BBQ by Patrick Murty’s company, 7 BBQ.

Buck A Buckeye– Head over to the Hospitality Tent to pick up a homemade, chocolate-covered buckeye for $1.

Vendor Hunt- Be entered to win an Apple iWatch simply by visiting our vendors and filling out an entry card. Completed cards must be returned by Saturday, July 25th at 5 pm.

Don’t forget, The Equine Chronicle will once again be sponsoring the Hospitality Tent for the duration of the show. Stop by for cold water, snacks, and a copy of your favorite equestrian publication! Also, keep an eye out for the Chronicle Cart that will be distributing goodies around the show grounds.
