October 7-11, 2015 West World — Scottsdale, AZ
The Arizona Fall Championship continues to build on its success and popularity with a fantastic and enticing line of prizes and awards. The allure of Scottsdale in the fall and the top notch facilities offered by the West World venue are always huge draws for exhibitors. However, the AzFC is determined to make this show the destination for any level of AQHA competitor with a dazzling display of saddles, bronze trophies, custom hats, boots, clothing and gear, along with plenty of added money.
This is truly a show for everyone of any level. With many of the L3 riders headed to the Congress, it opens the field for all riders to be seen and rewarded for their best efforts. There will be plenty of leveled classes offered as well. Large class sizes ensure that lots of points will be accumulated.
This year’s dates put the show right after the Novice Championship and the Snaffle Bit Futurity, both an easy haul from Scottsdale. The show will be offering a full set of cattle classes along with an Open & Amateur Bridle Spectacular and AQHA Roping classes. Plans are in the works for a Timed Event roping also. Details will be announced shortly. Reiners will appreciate Arizona Reining Horse Associations added money in the Best of the West NRHA Reining. Ranch Riding fans will find plenty to love at the show, with classes, clinics, Ranch Riding Trail (non AQHA), and two-way composite score awards combining either Ranch Riding with Reining or with Ranch Trail.
Owners, trainers, exhibitors and family love showing at West World for its convenience to all the spectacular restaurants, shopping venues, nice hotels and, for those who can get away during the day, its world renowned golf courses. There are very few show grounds that enjoy such a prime location. The show’s schedule takes that into account. Classes are predicted to finish early each evening, allowing time to enjoy all that Scottsdale has to offer.
