Taking one of the first awards of the day was Deanna Searles and She Says Aloha (pictured at right), winning the Breeders Championship Futurity Four to Six Year Old Hunter Under Saddle.
“She was such a good girl today,” said Searles of the four-year-old mare known as Daisy. “She’s a lot of fun to show. Especially for mare, she is just very sweet. She does whatever you ask.”
Nancy Sue Ryan showed Jessee James for owner Courtney Battison to a tie with Not Just Anyhoo and Beth Case, riding for Rebecca Kazakavicius, in the Breeders Championship Futurity Two Year Old Open Hunter Under Saddle. The two class winners are pictured below.
