The first portion of the 2014 Florida Gold and Gulf Coast Quarter Horse circuit is complete! The Gold Coast began December 27th, 2014 and wrapped up the New Year on December 31st giving AQHA competitors the opportunity to score some last minute points for year-end titles. Judges for the first portion of the show were David Avery, Brian Ellsworth, Robin Frid, Karen Waters, Verlin Potts, and Chris Jeter.

2014 Florida Gold Coast Results:
Gold 1-6- Over Fences, Trail, English on the Flat, Cattle, Ranch Horse Pleasure, Reining
Gold 1-6- Trail, Western Riding, Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship
The 2015 Florida Gulf Coast kicked off yesterday, January 1st, with Over Fences, Equitation Over Fences, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, and Section A of Trail. Meanwhile, over at the Triple J Arena, Roping, Working Cowhorse, Reining and Ranch Pleasure classes took place. This schedule will be repeated on January 4th.
Today, classes include Pleasure Driving, Showmanship, Trail Section B, and Western Riding. This schedule will be repeated on January 5th. Breaking up the competition on January 3rd will be all Halter classes. Judges for the Gulf Coast are Randy Alderson, Jeff Allen, Larry Hansch, Scott Neuman, Nancy Sue Ryan, and Steve Stephens.
Our very own Gordon Downey is en route to Florida and will be snapping candid photos very soon.
