The 2014 AQHA World Championship Show Sale, held in conjunction with the AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City, is slated for November 15. There’s still time for you to get your top-quality horses consigned to the sale. The consignment deadline is September 3.
Download the consignment application. As it was last year, the consignment fee is $600 and the commission rate is 5 percent, with a minimum of $250.
Any successful sale must be based on the quality of horses, so the AQHA World Show Sale Committee, composed of highly regarded horsemen and -women, will review the consignments to ensure that every sale horse is of that certain quality.
The committee will accept horses based on an analysis of each horse’s performance record, pedigree, dam and sire performance records, conformation and athletic ability.
The sale preview is tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m. on November 14 in the Performance Arena at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. The sale starts at 10 a.m. on November 15 in the Performance Arena.
Starting at the 2014 AQHA World Show Sale, buyers have an added appeal for purchasing a horse. A new AQHA World Show Sale bonus program will attract more buyers and also give breeders and trainers an incentive to consign their horses to the sale. Learn more about the bonus program.
