Since 2013, Paint industry supporters and the American Paint Horse Foundation have worked to lessen the burden of big dreams by awarding scholarships in select classes at the AjPHA Youth World Championship Show. High school seniors have already claimed more than $22,000 of their hard-earned cash—a welcome addition to their college funds. The majority of APHF’s scholarship winners have not yet graduated from high school—their funds are being held in trust by the foundation.
Helping to build the future of horse industry Youth—and encouraging these young horsemen and –women to continue pursuing their equestrian passions alongside their educations—is an invaluable move to ensure a healthy horse industry for years to come.
